Comedian, writer, actor, director Travon Free, from ‘The Daily Show,’ spoke to NowThis about his new film ‘Two Distant Strangers.’ ‘Two Distant Strangers’ follows a young Black man caught in a recurring nightmare where he is killed by police.

Travon Free, who directed and wrote ‘Two Distant Strangers,’ said the film is a glimpse into what it’s like for Black and brown people in America. Last year, there were protests across the country after the deaths of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd – the two latter were killed by police.
