This week, nearly 60 Texas Dems went to Washington, D.C., to hold off a critical vote on a voter suppression bill. Massive protests erupted in Cuba, with demonstrators demanding an end to chronic food shortages, COVID-19 surges, and power outages. President Joe Biden convened a meeting on gun safety as the U.S. grapples with a deadly uptick in violent crimes. England footballers received an outpouring of support after racist messages were hurled at three Black players. And, thousands of trout were dropped from a plane to repopulate mountain lakes in Utah.
