More than 100 million people around the world have been infected by COVID-19, and 2.5 million have lost their lives over the last year.

This week, the world marked one year of the coronavirus pandemic. Members of the British royal family are responding to Oprah’s bombshell interview with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. South Dakota passed a bill targeting trans women and girls in sports. Loved ones are remembering those they lost to the earthquake, tsunami, and Fukushima disaster in Japan 10 years ago. And, President Joe Biden’s dogs are returning to the White House after a reported biting incident.
