‘We have a deal,’ Biden told reporters outside the White House after a meeting with a group of lawmakers that included Sens. Kyrsten Sinema, Joe Manchin, Rob Portman, Lisa Murkowski, Jon Tester, Bill Cassidy, and Mark Warner. It remains to be seen how much support outside of that working group the bill will see in the 50-50 split Senate, with many Republicans worried about pay-fors and many Democrats worried about the extent of investments in creating a green economy.
