Micah Harold began collecting sanitation supplies at his store, Red Handed Tattoo, in March after noticing many were unable to find vital PPE in other stores.
‘Everything to do with fighting disease, I had at the tips of my fingers,’ he explains.
Eventually, members from his Shreveport, Louisiana, community got involved, volunteering and making deliveries.
‘So many people were failing to see the hope and the positivity in things,’ Micah says. ‘What I saw was a network of helpers beckon to that call.’
Micah’s also been spreading joy online with music and funny videos, and he hopes to pass on this example of kindness to his daughters.
